Mother Earth Plant

About Us

MotherEarth Plant LLC hopes to fill basic unmet needs while offering solutions to social and environmental issues facing the people of the Southwest.

Through the establishment of a commercial facility that will manufacture, and market products made from industrial hemp straw, MotherEarth Plant will provide much needed employment opportunities for the residents of the fifth poorest metropolitan area in the country.

MotherEarth Plant’s Phase One Processing Plant and subsequent rural commercial processing facilities will increase the rural infrastructure and rural sustainability through the introduction of an alternative, high value crop.

To pursue these opportunities, Mother Earth Plant, LLC (“MEP, LLC”) has been established and will build a processing facility near Tucson, Arizona capable of processing 40,000 tons annually of hemp straw, and hemp oil, into bio fiber and other by-products. The “Phase One Processing Plant” will be used to modify and reengineer the small scale fiber processing technology.

The Phase One Processing Plant is also considered a Phase One facility in the sense that there is currently only other commercial hemp fiber processing facility starting up in North America. The processing of the fiber, in itself, is not a new technology, but uses much of the process employed in the creation of other bio-fibers, such as flax.

Management has secured a commitment from a landowner on a corner of the Tohono O dam reservation with sufficient acreage for the processing plant near to acreage that will be planted with Industrial hemp for a starter crop. This property is located near the interstate.
